Dean, Ohhhhhhhhhh i remember, its been a while. Kinda reminds me of that time i was on 1211 and the chief gave the orders after he recalled 1211 from mcdonalds to "return and go in service with a handline on 1224 for the truck on fire" -yeah i now remember the truck replacement plan!

I think every truck in 121 & 122's fleet has had at least 1 "Smoke Showing" moment. Guess it's the price that gets paid when you try to do alot with a little.

Yeah Big Dog - nice placement of the engine. Guess it was a good thing the leaves under the exhaust pipe didn't catch fire. would have been more work!

Only opening I had at the time. Had to keep the road open. I hate tight streets.

Get the apparatus where it needs to go. If need be get it towed out later. Most tow companies in this area will get you out free of charge. If you have to get there or see it possible then get it done, sometimes we are too apt to keep it on the street b/c we might get stuck, so what!!!! just my two cents
