In case anybody is keeping score, Evesham has awarded a contract to Pierce Manufacturing for the purchase of 6 new engines. I'm not sure what chassis they are going to be on but will try and find out. Price was about $425,000 each, give or take a few. Not a big fan of the "Oval" but at this point, could really care less. I'm running out of duct tape and chewing gum to keep the 20 year old ones running! Have a great day and stay safe everybody.

I have some left over super-glue from when we had to keep our old piece together, if you want it!

Congrats on the new engines.
Any spare chewing gum you might have would be appreciated. Just donate it to Medford for the purpose of keeping 2524 and 2517 on the road. Thanks. ;D

I agree 2517 is a beast, but I've heard that lately its cost a fortune to repair.
Back to Evesham. Any word on what configuration the engines will be?
