David Drummond a tornado chaser from TX was shooting footage of this fire, when the unthinkable happened. Damaged the crap outta his chase van too, a huge piece of whatever hit his , and honestly he's lucky as hell it wasn't him. Here's a pic of his van, daviddrummond.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/chasevehicledamageKCBD.jpg I hope everybody on scene was ok, you can hear pass devices going off for a while, and then they hit the evac order. Had to be some damage to apparatus too, but i haven't heard anything online about this yet, its a pretty rural area in West Texas where this was. Either way CRAZY video.
