Alright, time for some humor here.
Pick a choice, vote for it and explain why. whether it's "Firetrucks are supposed to be red!" or "We wanted this color". Let's get some good debating going!
I voted white. Simply because with us being in the sticks, and 72 having virtually no lights, traffic lights hitting a white truck makes it more visible versus it being black, red, etc. And I like the color anyway.
Whats YOURS?

Gotta go with the Chicago paint job - black over red. Fire trucks are supposed to be red, but there are some really nice looking trucks that aren't red.
I always got a kick out of riding behind the Blue Goose in the Wildwood parade because there was a DJ on the parade route that would always hound them for not being red. Then Medford would follow and get a good cheer because we were red. It was funny stuff but remember, the color doesn't put the fire out.

That DJ got RE2923 in 2006...haha He came on the mic "What color are firetrucks?" I got on 23s PA and said "WHITE" as the crowd said RED!

Gotta go with black over red....unfortunately we were only able to convince our Board to do R3119 in that scheme...

I would go with Black over Red or Black over Maroon. Hainesport's trucks do look very nice.

All I can remember about fire truck colors is what webboss said one July 4th parade..."Yellow and Blue make Green"

black over red without a doubt! I just think that color combination makes a truck look great! being used to the traditional red and white, going to wildwood and seeing the demo trucks with the black on red, looked awesome!
although lemon lime yellow is starting to grow on me ;D
