What I took from this video is a reminder that old houses may have been remodeled with engineered lumber, and there would be no outward signs of it. Always use caution!

lurker...excellent post....sorry for the late response. These damn things scare me more than truss roofs, having seem the aftermath of a fire in Delran and few years back involving them. No warning, no clues....the floor just seems to vaporize.
