Hey guys I just wanted everyone to be reminded and consider participating in the Gift from Captain Buscio Program at Deborah Heart and Lung in Pemberton. It is free for all NJ Firefighers and Police Officers. If you have insurance, they ask you to get a referral from your doctor, but they even gave you the codes for the doctor to put in. It just helps them offset the cost of the program. I went the other day, and it was quick and easy. They took 2 vials of blood, did chest x-rays, a real PFT (way better than the one we get for Fit Testing), and a 12-Lead EKG. Then I met with the Doctor for a consult, he made recommendations some recommendations, and now I am following up with my personal doctor. I was there from 9am- 2pm, and except for the wait to see the Cardiologist, it was painless. I even grabbed lunch in their cafeteria for $5. Anyway, I highly recommend it.
