Aren't you sick of seeing that as a news headline? This type of incident that's been called "isolated" is becoming a repeated "isolated" incident too the point that it's an everyday headline. Every couple days I see "Firefighter Hospitalized/Dies after being pinned/crushed by apparatus" and I'm definitely sick of seeing it, as everyone else should be. How can this keep happening? WHERE ARE THE SPOTTERS? If I'm on the truck I always spot for the driver, I don't care if they have 2 miles of open land to back up, a little assurance and second set of eyes can't hurt can it? If the driver doesn't want one, WHO CARES, spot'em anyway, again a second set of eyes can't hurt. It's all about "Everyone Goes Home" isn't it? Anyone else wanna touch on this or is it just me?
