First off let slook at the house...under construction..ehh maybe...if were in Pemberton pry not...just a typical shack...
I would assume a suspicious fire...that amount of black smoke...it looks like fire is only in the front room there, maybe a little more...but you have open sophists with no smoke pushing out of the them...I don't think its taken the roof yet, again no smoke pushing out the sophists and no smoke pushing out the gable...Hell theres no fire in the window next to the door???
To me its border line 2 1/2 , 1 3/4...but I hit it with a 2 1/2 and go in after it with a 1 3/4...
Id be really cognizant of the floor..again I would be thinking a set fire with a petroleum product...based on the amonut of fire in what appears just one room...

I would make the intial attack thru the front door with a 2 1/2, for a couple of reasons that have been stated earlier. House is under renovations an attack thru the rear could be unsafe, is there a floor, just floor joist, debris blocking you attack etc. I was looking at the picture and my 9 yr old son said Dad where is the front door? Good point, was this set? Was some in there working or did it get set and they ran, heavy fire, not a lot of smoke and the fire thru the front wall makes me wondering how much of this house is just the frame and the rest is under consturction? I would be very safe at first and after venting maybe sending in a line from the rear for extension, but be safe about it. Just one more quick thing after looking at this again, is this the front of the house? I am starting to think it might be the rear? They thru out the old dishwasher, well thats what it looks like to me, out the rear of the house where the kitchen would be. Just a thought!
