Another hp4l classic....and again, a very typical Burlco house fire. Using smoke reading and building construction, make the call...Offensive, Transitional, Defensive...and give your reasons why.

Well, it's an attic fire. Maybe something in the garage started, maybe it's a defective flue pipe... soemthing along those lines.
It's venting, so you SHOULD be able to pull cielings and knock it down, but I wouldn't waste any time. From the color of it, they're getting it (just starting to) over the garage. My concern is how far it ran over the span of the house.
Give it a couple of minutes, see what can be done. If no real success, pull the men out, put a step gun in the doorway and knock it down hard.

I agree: Attic fire. It looks like its already run the entire length, judging from the way the smoke is coming out under pressure over the living area. Get in there with a juiced-up truck crew to pull ceilings and knock it back.

Get inside and find the fire. Hit it to the best of your ability. Otherwise Prepare the deck gun to knock it down before returning to the interior. The smoke closer to the D side makes me think bad things are going to happen soon.
