Sounded real good - kudos to Chief 3800 on doing an outstanding job with command!
What happened to 4681? They reported OOS on location.

well, the emts off of R6819 and E4112 ravaged it for equipment...almost all the typical equipment we needed came off of there so that the EMS engine and their rescue werent taken oos themselves because they have the other ambo they can use.

i'd have to say that one of the main things that helped this incident is that 3802 works for the school district and had notified the necessary people before we were even totally finished with the patient care. i never realized the amount of school personnel that have to come when the kids are involved, so it was good to have them moving in our direction quickly

Sounds like the right thing to do. As far as I can tell they did the right thing. The first ambulance on location should be the triage ambulance, and all equipment needed should be taken from it. Now in a reality check, that doesn't happen as often as it should. I'm not going to get into the why. Good job to those on this call.
