Holly Lane MVA vehicle into the Dwelling Rescue Assignment.

Units arrived to find one car overturned with one patient entrapped inside. Pt was not seriously injured (Go Figure). Squad 2723 arrived and secured the vehicle with Paratech Struts in the rear and step chocks in the front. Door was open with the spreaders. Pt extricated in approx 5 minutes.

Is that re-barb securing the struts? I know it can be done like that but how do you think it works compared to the straps method. I think it would be quicker! how deep are the stakes?

Pins are 24 inches long. We used the pins since it was quicker and there really wasn't much for us to strap onto other than the C post. At the time we didnt know if we were going to need to flap the roof to get her out.

And yes the Chief owes!!!
