Before everyone wakes up and starts posting, I am hitting this off at the head... Please do not post any addresses or further information before "1710" has an oppertunity to post his write up of the incident. What I will post for now, is that there was a fatal fire this morning in the Leisuretown section of Southampton Twp. The first arriving units from 171, 172, and 431 did an outstanding job, however there are times when things don't always work out how we would like them to.

I am posting this on behalf of Chief 1710. Please refer any questions or further inquiries to "1710" directly via PM. Thank you for everyone's understanding in this matter. Double Fatal House Fire February 17th – At approximately 4:30 Taskforce 172 (172,171,178,179) 431, and E292 was dispatched to the intersection of S. Westminster and Huntington for a dwelling. I was advised that a neighbor heard an explosion and now saw fire coming from a house. I arrived and reported a working attached garage fire. Due to the car in the driveway and no occupants outside the assignment was upgraded to victims trapped. RE1712 was the first to arrive. Members entered the structure and removed one of the victims and handed that victim over to awaiting EMS units. The second victim was found later in the incident. Units were on location for many hours to assist the NJSP and County investigators. Unfortunately both victims were pronounced. The members extend their sympathy to the family and friends of the victims. I am not posting any other information in regards to this incident due to the circumstances. I would like to thank all of the personnel who were on scene.
