Call went out somewhere around 6:40AM.
Police on location with "brush fire" Dist 13 chiefs arrived with fire on the D (garage) side of the house and the garage well off.
E1311 took a 2 1/2" (i believe) in the front door closest to the garge and made an excellent stop preventing the fire from spreading into most of the first & 2nd floor. Q2514 arrived and setup in the driveway while the crews assisted D13. T1314 laid a line from the closest plug where Q3614 tied into it. With smoke pushing out the eves, RE1712 arrived next due and went to Div 2 with an 1 3/4" to open up and check for extention while the balance of Lumberton's crews did a search. 1712's crew found hevy fire in the attic. After about 5 minutes of hooking and working to find a good standpoint (never found one), the crew was pulled out after detiorating roof conditions. Not even 2 minutes later the entire roof was involved and went up like match sticks. After master stream operations ceased, crews went back into open-up and extinguish fire in all the void spaces. The funny part is, there was absolutely no smoke damage on most of the first floor. You could have made coffee and ate breakfast in the kitchen (minus the two inches of water on the floor). Even when operating on Div 2 it was at most times just a heavy haze. Fire burned up the side of the house, through the soffit, and across the roof.
Other crews on location from Eastamtpon, Mount Holly, the other Boro (Pemberton), Westampton, Moorestown, and more I probably just didn't see (sorry if I missed ya).
Props to Dist 13 ladies auxilliary. It was cold out that morning and they were always ready with warm drinks and food.
