Original report for fire from an exhaust fan in a bathroom

Chief 2000 O/S SFD with fire showing Div C Roof Area

RE2013 laying out from Jan/Hope - E2012 picking up their line

RE2013 operating - E2012/RE8011 venting Div C roof area

Trucks opening up interior and doing more vent work

0816 - Chief 2000 reported extension into attic space - bulk of fire knocked down

0825 - 20 min progress report - U/C - co's overhauling

0837 - Chief 2000 downsizing to units from 20, RE8011, TK2415

Sounded like fast work and a great job by all!

My dream, and I hope you don't find this too crazy, is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, "Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!"

Great job done by all on location. Quick knock in the bathrrom on Division 2. Heavy fire in attic hit with 1 3/4" line in the hallway (thank god I'm tall because there was no room for my fat ass on a ladder in there). Crews on roof opened up fast. 2nd 1 3/4' line on the roof. Fast extinguishment held to the bathroom, attic and roof area.
