2702 and 2723 were on location at the Academy. What was going on...I left there only 5 min before that dispatch.

2702 and 2723 were on location at the Academy. What was going on...I left there only 5 min before that dispatch. Scenario for Hazmat Tech class?? They must've gone right after I cruised by 272 as SQD2723 was still in quarters..

all i know is 272, 278, L501 were dispatched for the investigation and it was shortly held with squad 2723

I found out that the transformer behind the poll barn went and all the power was lost in the ESTC. 2702 was on scene and requested 2723 for lighting.

Transformer is all it was. There was 15 or so people in the pole barn fully donned in Chemical Protective Clothing when the transformer right next to the pole barn let loose. It was an interesting light display for sure.
I had radioed central to have PS respond and have SQ2723 report to assist with lighting and assist the people with doffing the CPC suits in the dark.
Wasn't any big deal, but I have no idea why the F1 operator put the assignment out as an investigation.
