You may know Pat she lost her dad to a LODD, Richard Liddy, from Basking Ridge, NJ. Pat spoke at Wildwood and attended the Whistle Stop Tour at Burlington County in 2007. Pat and her sisters are very active with the NFFF.
My son asked me to do him a favor this morning. He asked if I would contact as many "Fire/EMS" people as I could and ask them to send fire department/EMS patches to him at his Iraq address because the base firehouse that serves Camp Victory is starting a collection of patches for display. The firehouse is manned by civilian firefighters and military firefighters.
His address is:
Pfc, Stonaker, Benjamin 547th ASMC Camp Victory APO AE 09342
Ben will be stationed there through November 2008 and will gladly accept the patches and deliver them to the firehouse.
Ordinarily we are very low key about him being overseas; but we both know that this would be an emotional boost to the men and women who are in the "emergency services" at Camp Victory to get support from their fellow firefighters/EMS at "home".
If anyone has any questions, you can certainly contact me. And please forward.....
Thanks,
