Thought this was a good idea.
If you have a piece of substantial apparatus out of service, list it here so that everyone else has a heads up on the status.
[glow=red,2,300]PLEASE make sure you modify your post when it's back in service to note that it's returned.[/glow]

Engine 3121 is out of service because the cooling fan for the radiator decided that it did not want to be attached to the engine any more. It decided this while Engine 3121 was responding to the alarm activation at 614 Beacon Street. However, while in the process of detaching itself from the engine, the fan apparently suffered a case of separation anxiety and therefore did not completely remove itself from the engine

Is one of the Florence engines for sale? The new firehouse magazine, in the back of it there's a FireTec add and in the upper right corner is a rig that's gotta be either 4011 or 4021. (sorry 4011 or 4013) You guys were one of the only ones to have front line pumpers with 1250gal tanks so even that struck me.
I know I'm a wacker when I can pick something like that out... not that I needed any more confirmation, but still.

On December 17, 2007 Engine 4011 was sold to the Hardyville Volunteer Fire Department in Hardyville, KY. The truck was sold as part of the departments three year apparatus replacement and fleet reduction program. Truck was also sold as is, meaning they got hose, and the equipment that go along with it! We are now looking at this Monday's commisioner meeting to award the bid to replace 4015!
