I believe a good way to kick off this section is to establish where everyone is as far a response knowledge. What is your departments procedure/policy for high/low angle responses? What do you do, etc?

Ask Central for a Rope Rescue team. Prolly Rescue 68/67. If we have the availability set up a safety rope to the victim, but make no attempts at rescue. Secure and control the scene, wait for the people with the proper training to come, not me.

doesn't cherry hill come out and handle those calls? I think it depends on which part of the county you are in.

The county is working on assembling a team, it has been going on for some time now. The tedious work of training, standardization, equipment, SOG's, etc. has been in the works. I will say that we do have some pretty good units out there in the mean time, Evesham, Westampton, Bordentown (321 I think), Moorestown, Burlingtons (30 and 90, but not sure if they kept up on it) and I am sure there are some others. I am not sure how much longer it will be before the team is "response" functioning, but it is in the works.

North end gets Mecer County Tech Rescue Task Force and the South end gets Cherryhill.
Would love to reley on the Fort but what happens when they are in lock down mode due to a increace in the National threat level?

Good Question. I would ask central to dispatch 2 of the county resources. Question: TF1 HQ is less then 30 minutes from us (In Pemberton). Are they a requestable resource? Second: For our side of the county, anyone think of Lacey, Manchester, or Lakewood Technical Rescue teams? I know Manchester and Lakewood still have very strong teams and Manchester is right next to us.

NJTF1 is a requestable resource, but their response time maybe long. They will send an advanced team but their is not a team standing by to respond at Lakehurst. Go with the County protacall of TF801 and Cherry Hill. R-13 has a crew in station 24/7, I dont know how long it takes to get TF801 up or if they are stafffed. Chief Welling can answer that. Unless it is seriously out of our league you dont need NJTF1. We have the resource coupled with R13 & TF801.

Any information prior to arrival is always good. I will contact the Captain @ Rescue 13 for an outline of actions/resources
